Back to work.....

My 4 days of holiday are over, time just flies. It feel so strange when I was at work, since I'm just not in the right gear yet, still very lay back and not in the mood to be at work at all. Anyways, I'm working early today, it is one of those late - early shift, I know you can't avoid it, but still it could be very tiring, especially as I mention I'm not back in gear yet. However, my colleague was very nice and let me go home a bit earlier, which means I will have a bit more rest (to be honest, this wouldn't make a huge difference for me, as I just sat in front of my telly when I should be taking a shower and go to bed).

One thing I wouldn't complaint is that it wasn't that busy tonight, that is quite good, at least sometimes at late shift, you might get queues of people trying to speak to you or even just check in. That's what the hospitality industry about isn't it....

I still love my job even though I hate the shift work, I just wish I can get out of this shift patteren soon (when I'm back in Hong Kong). At least I can have a better sleeping pattern and a bit more rest. Anyways, gotta go to bed now, it's really late and I need to get up in 4 hours time.
