New job @ NNRK

I guess as what the title states, this is my recently update. I have left InterContinental Hong Kong and moved on to NNRK. Some people has said this was a crazy move, as ICHK should have offered me lots more than this new job. The answer to this is yes and no, it offered me the knowledge and skills about this industry, at least I would know what a luxury hotel brand expects. Just hope one day I would go back to a five star property, but in the meantime, I will learn and train myself at NNRK, it is going to be challenging , I guess after this opening experiences, I would gain more for myself. Afterall I am pleased to have this new move, although it is very tiring at this moment, things should be much better in a later stage.

The grand opening ceremony was on last Friday, May 9, 2008. It was some kind of ceremony and party that night, really busy but I had fun as well. During the day time, I went out with the media group for a day trip in HK, obviously my heart was left in the office and think about the different work load that I had. On the other hand, it was great fun, I have experienced something that I never tried before, i.e. Dolphin watch in HK, visiting the bird market. It is a valuable experience and I guess it is good for me to have a day out just to relax, afterall it was a stress month for me. 

The moment that I have decided to take this job, I have decided to step up on the plate and take up the challenges. I hope things are going to be fine and we as a team can work better and closer together. May my worst nightmare will never happen.......

Christmas 2007

Merry Christmas everyone!!

I guess I'm not a good blogger, as I don't update that often. Afterall, there isn't that much happening around me, most of my life is work, eat, sleep, try to hang out with my friends where possible and spare some time for myself with Kit. It's kind of routine or somehow boring (as some might find), I'm still surviving with this kind of lifestyle, at least I get my freedom to hang out with my friends till late.

So as you can guess from my routine life, my Christmas will be quite normal compare to others, I went out with Kit for a movie and dinner in Elements, then came home for another movie.

Most recently, I have hung out with my friends quite often, in the same time, I have taken quite a lot of pictures with them. It is quite interesting after many years later you look through your pictures again, just to figure out when you took that picture. (This happened to me recently, where I cannot remember when and how come I took this picture, I'm still trying to search this part of my memory). As time flies, you will have more things to remember about and I find some of the less important memories, you would have left out and forgotten about it. I just hope I haven't forgotten some of the things that I want to remember at that stage of life, so photos and blogs might be a good tool for an aging me.

As said, I have spent quite a lot of my leisure time with my friends, which I'm worry if I have left Kit out from my life. It's really hard to find the balance of life (which I think I had mentioned before in my previous post). It is just too hard to balance family, work and friends. I think somehow I have left out my family, which I have no intention to do so, but afterall I just want to thank their understanding and knowing that I am at least trying to coupe with all three.

This is all I've got to say for now, I want to have another update just on New Year Eve, just to round off and say good bye to 2007.

Switched to Blogger Beta

Haven't write anything in here since last year, I was going to write my new year resolution, but....

Anyways, visited to Blogger and switched to beta, still not sure what time of difference there is, as I'm still exploring at the moment.

I haven't been doing much at the moment, mostly is work, work and work, with even longer "official" longer hours, this just mean I will have shorter rest time. Therfore, I don't spend that much time online, mostly is telly and rest. I think thats what I need right now.
